Operation: Stock the Racks is a go! 🧦🧥🚨💙

Threadz is teaming up with Tempe Police, Tempe Fire, and our local high schools to help students look good, feel good, and succeed!

Help us stock the racks this winter! ❄️ We’re collecting gently used hoodies and new socks, deodorant, body wash, PJ pants, and shampoo + conditioner.

Donation drop-off locations | 9 AM–5 PM

🏫 Participating high schools:
• Mountain Pointe High School — 4201 E. Knox Rd.
• Tempe High School — 1730 S. Mill Ave.
• Marcos de Niza High School — 6000 S. Lakeshore Dr.

🚒 Additional drop-off locations:
• Apache Substation — 1855 E. Apache Blvd.
• Tempe Fire Administration — 1400 E. Apache Blvd.

In FY 2025–2026, City of Tempe human services programs and local nonprofits supported through city-funded grants made a difference more than 250,000 times! 🙌

From access to health care and healthy food to affordable housing and economic opportunity, these investments help meet residents’ needs and build a stronger, healthier Tempe.

Through its partnership with the City of Tempe, Tempe Community Council (TCC) manages and distributes city-funded nonprofit grants, helping support vital services throughout our community.

Learn how you can support Tempe Community Council’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, which provides free tax preparation for local residents. Just curious? No commitment to volunteer for the season is required!

We are so grateful for our incredible community! 💙

Last week, DMD Systems Recovery dropped off a major donation of 200 backpacks filled with school supplies! 🎒📚

These backpacks will be distributed at our Threadz free clothing closets and made available to students who need a new backpack to feel confident, prepared, and ready for school.

Here’s a hint: he’s a dad, a graphic designer, a skateboarder, and a big believer in giving back. 🛹🎨💙

Through Swappow PLUS Foundation, he has contributed more than 1,400 volunteer hours supporting Arizona foster youth through mentorship, hands-on service, and meaningful connections doing what he loves: skateboarding.
