When Luke was invited to Camp Rainbow, he wasn’t sure he wanted to go. After losing his hair during leukemia treatment, he worried about being different. But knowing members of his Phoenix Children’s care team would be there helped him feel comfortable enough to give camp a try.

What he found was a place where he could simply be himself. He met other kids who understood what he was going through, made new friends and created memories that stayed with him long after camp ended.

For children like Luke, Camp Rainbow offers a chance to step away from hospital visits and treatment and just be a kid.

That's why Vicki and Gary Weisbrick decided to establish an endowed fund supporting Camp Rainbow in honor of their son, Tiger, one of the camp's earliest attendees. Their legacy gift will provide support for Camp Rainbow in perpetuity so that cost will never be a barrier for any family.
