Through Arizona Public Service - APS Women in STEM Day, JAG Arizona students gained valuable exposure to STEM careers while participating in engaging, hands-on experiences designed to inspire the next generation of leaders and innovators. For many students, especially young women, these opportunities help turn curiosity into confidence and career aspirations into achievable goals.

When students have access to career-focused learning and real-world opportunities, they are better prepared for what's next.

By helping young people develop leadership skills, explore career pathways, and connect with employers, JAG Arizona is preparing the next generation of talent. The Class of 2025 achieved a 73% employment rate, with 86% of employed graduates working full-time and 91% reaching full-time positive outcomes.

Congratulations to Ryan Klem, JAG Specialist at West Point High School, for receiving the JAG Arizona Alumni Association Champion Award. With support from the Wellik Foundation, Wickenburg JAG students have received consistent mentorship, career exploration opportunities, academic support, and leadership development, helping them stay on track toward graduation and beyond.

Celebrating our students is one of the greatest honors of our work.

At this year’s Rising Stars Award Ceremony, JAG Arizona recognized scholarship recipients selected from more than 145 student applicants across the state. Scholarships awarded included the Dougherty Foundation Scholarship, Carolyn Warner Legacy Award, Graciela Garcia Candia Philanthropy Scholarship, and the Dr. Oranté Jenkins Leadership in Education Scholarship.
