On January 7th 2024, the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 64 Ahwatukee AZ and the American Legion Post 64 Ahwatukee held a celebration of life for Alice Maynard. Darlene the Auxiliary's president presented the eulogy that Brenda Smull had written for Alice.
