Fifteen years ago, the Flinn-Brown Network began with a small group of Fellows and a shared belief: Arizona’s most challenging problems are best solved when the right leaders find each other and work together.
This year’s Flinn-Brown Convention, “Living the Network: 15 Years of Leadership in Action,” brought together hundreds of Fellows and showed us that the Network isn’t just alive—it’s thriving. That’s thanks to every Fellow who shared ideas, built connections, and showed up for something bigger than themselves.
We’re incredibly grateful to facilitator Deanna Villanueva Saucedo for steering the day's conversations and to panelists Audra Koester Thomas, Catherine Alonzo, Frank McCune, the Honorable Kevin Hartke, and Kate Morley for demonstrating the power of collaboration in action.
Special thanks to Sarah Rose Webber for starting the day with a morning yoga session, Katie Hurst for helping Fellows build real-time connections, and graphic recorder Abby Wilkymacky for visually capturing the conversations and themes discussed throughout the day.
