Men's Arts Council

Men's Arts Council Men’s Arts Council (MAC) was founded in January of 1967 to support the programs and activities of the Phoenix Art Museum. Admission is by invitation only.

Who We Are. Men’s Arts Council (MAC) of Phoenix Art Museum was founded in January of 1967 to support the programs and activities of the Phoenix Art Museum. With the talents and efforts of its over 200 members, MAC organizes three distinctively different annual events: the Bell Lexus North Scottsdale Copperstate 1000 vintage car road rally, the Copperstate Double Gun, and the Copperstate Overland v

intage off-road rally. In addition, MAC members provide help in a variety of ways at the Phoenix Art Museum. What We Stand For. The efforts of the Men’s Arts Council enables the group to make annual contributions to the Museum’s operating budget, to financially sponsor exhibitions, and to fund two separate endowments: the Western American Art Endowment Fund and the Men’s Arts Council Sculpture Endowment Fund. These endowments exist to fund acquisitions, support exhibitions, and foster art education at the Museum. As of 2012, MAC’s cumulative financial contribution to Phoenix Art Museum exceeded $10 million.

Meet Martyn Bridgeman, a proud Phoenix native and dedicated member of the Men's Arts Council.

Born and raised in Phoenix, Martyn has deep roots in the Valley and a lifelong commitment to serving the community he calls home. Whether he's enjoying leisure travel, meaningful conversations, finding time to simply be still, or, as he puts it, "talking sh@ #," Martyn believes that building authentic relationships is at the heart of a strong community.

Professionally, Martyn has built a diverse career as an air traffic controller, small business owner, real estate manager, and community leader. Those experiences have given him a unique perspective on leadership, problem-solving, and advocating for the needs of others.

His passion for service extends well beyond his career. Martyn is the Co-Founder of The SEEN, Inc., an organization dedicated to creating a sense of belonging and connecting individuals with valuable community resources. He also served as Board President of the Phoenix Center for the Arts, helping strengthen one of the Valley's most important cultural organizations, and has served on the Board of Directors for the Roosevelt Action Association, supporting the continued growth and vibrancy of downtown Phoenix.

Martyn joined the Men's Arts Council to support the Phoenix Art Museum while expanding the reach and awareness of MAC throughout the community. His passion for bringing people together and supporting the arts embodies the mission of the organization.

Be sure to introduce yourself to Martyn at the next MAC lunch or event.

Congratulations to Mike Ratzken on officially becoming a Men's Arts Council member after graduating from the PMAC program!

Originally from the East Coast, Mike moved to Phoenix in 2005, attended high school in Tempe, and proudly graduated from Arizona State University. Today, he is the Owner and Designated Broker of Two Brothers Realty.

Mike and his wife, Lauren, are proud parents to two young children, Tatum and Isla. When he's not helping clients or spending time with family, you'll likely find him traveling, playing pickleball or golf, hiking, or cheering on his favorite New York sports teams.

Mike joined MAC to learn more about the arts while building lasting friendships with an incredible group of people. After completing the PMAC program, we're excited to officially welcome him as a full member and look forward to seeing the impact he'll make in the years ahead.

Welcome to the Men's Arts Council, Mike!
