CALL FOR ART: “Too Cute”

We’re looking for work that leans hard into kawaii — soft, sentimental, dreamy, sugar-sweet. Childlike wonder as a legitimate aesthetic, not just a decoration. Cute, and maybe a little too cute.

Rooted in postwar Japanese art and design, “Too Cute” is a studio exhibition at FOUND:RE Contemporary exploring softness as its own mode of seeing. All mediums welcome. Selected works go on view in our studio space and for sale on our gallery site to collectors nationwide.

Emerging or established, if your work fits the vibe, we want to see it.

We welcomed our Articipant community members to Artlink Headquarters at Park Central for the official Artinerary 2.0 Launch Party—celebrating the next evolution of discovering and connecting with Arizona’s arts and culture community.

🔥 THE HEAT IS ON! 🔥

The Arizona Art Alliance’s annual The Heat Is On Virtual Exhibition brings together a curated collection of work from artists across its Member Organizations, celebrating the depth, diversity, and creativity of Arizona’s arts community.

Featuring original 2D and 3D artwork, photography, digital media, jewelry, mixed media and more, the exhibition showcases both emerging and established artists working across a wide range of styles and disciplines.

First Friday is going strong in Phoenix.

While new community events are popping up all over the Valley, Phoenix’s 30+ year tradition continues to thrive thanks to the local artists, galleries, venues, and supporters who show up every month.

Artlink President & CEO Catrina Kahler shared:
“First Fridays is historically a decentralized event, with activity extending beyond Roosevelt Row to Historic Grand Avenue, Melrose, Midtown, and other parts of downtown and central Phoenix... Communities throughout the region may develop their own First Friday programming, but those efforts are distinct from Phoenix’s longstanding tradition, which is not owned, operated, or relocated by any single organization, district, or community.”

We know that First Fridays will continue to evolve with the passion of the creative communities that created it.
