Our scouts had a great time learning about and spending time with animals at the AZ Humane Society. Reading to the dogs was a special time for the scouts!

Bullfrog pond hike. Lots of wildlife sightings, rattlesnake, frogs, fish and gophers.

Adopt a street clean up Saturday morning. The scouts worked hard and enjoyed sharing donuts afterwards. Can you spot the unique find?

Pack meeting was full of fun activities Mr. Avery planned; tic tac toe w/ graham crackers and heart candies, fox and hound and Easter egg hunt w/ a twist.
Canned food drive and upcoming street clean was discussed as well.

The scouts put their woodworking skills into action at the recent den meeting. The younger scouts learned hammer and nails safety, they showed patience and perseverance.

Our Pack and Troop are offering luminaria this holiday season for those that enjoy lighting their walkways on Christmas eve.
A set of 12 luminaria cost $12. See our website www.deervalleyscouts.org for all the details. First come, first served until we run out. Scouts will deliver luminaria to your door the weekend before Christmas. All proceeds support Scouting in our area and its goals of developing character, instilling citizenship and promoting fitness in our youth. We thank you for your support.

Saturday hike at Eastwing Preserve. Thanks Mike for organizing and the trail mix essentials that fueled up the kids for the hike!
