Give her a summer of a lifetime – registration is still open for Girl Scouts Summer Camp! Our council’s passionate camp team has crafted a variety of themed programs for girls and families spanning across our three camp properties that are tucked away in the nature of Northern Arizona.

Girls can soar above the trees on a zipline, create functional art on the pottery wheel, or simply spend time with new friends unplugged from the pressures of the internet – all with the support and supervision of a certified all-female staff.

🌼 Daisy Days are a great option for girls not old enough for an overnight camp! She can spend her days with friends and head home in the evening.

Bring your mom, dad, uncle, or other family members to family camp! Check out one of these camps (or multiple) and bring adventure to everyone’s summer.

Sweet memories 🍪📸 It’s been a month since we wrapped the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie Season and as Girl Scouts across our council are putting their proceeds to use (planning travel, funding service projects, and gearing up for summer camp among others) we want to spotlight the triumphs of their hard work.

Across our council, 6,800 Girl Scouts participated in the Girl Scout Cookie Program and together sold 2,303,774 packages! Congratulations to our top cookie seller Avery from troop 872 and our top selling troop, Troop 558 from Cactus Bloom Service Unit!  Thank you to all the families and volunteers who helped make this season possible 💚.

Together, they provide safe, empowering spaces for girls to thrive in who they are and learn what they can become.

Let the Girl Scout volunteers in your life know why you appreciate them 💚.

Empowered by the Earth’s healing during the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic, Tatiyana aimed to inspire others to continue contributing to the environment while resuming everyday life. Her project involved planting two Desert Willow Trees at Tanner Chapel AME Church in Phoenix and renovating a room used for religious and therapy sessions. She also educated troop members and local children at elementary schools about the value of growing native trees and how the environment can influence personal wellbeing. Through Grow, Grow, Grow, Tatiyana enhanced the community by providing a space for growth and an uplifting sight while improving the environment.
Great job, Tatiyana!

This concludes the coverage for the 2025 Gold Award cohort – congratulations to all! Stay tuned as we celebrate the 2026 cohort that just celebrated their awards a couple of weeks ago.

Upon encountering social media content that impacted her confidence and self-image, Sophia used her journal as a comforting and coping tool to navigate and understand her emotions. Filling pages with moments of happiness, sadness, frustration and other feelings, journaling proved to be an effective and creative outlet for stress and anxiety relief – something she was eager to share with younger girls through her Gold Award project. Sophia launched Pobody’s Nerfect a self-guided journal with prompts and activities to improve confidence in young girls between the age groups of 9-13 years old. With six chapters and 70 pages of creative writing prompts, coloring pages and personality quizzes, the journal’s objective was to help girls discover what makes them unique, but also how to manage different life scenarios and friendships. After completing the project at a camp, girls felt more confident in explaining what boundaries are and understanding the importance of respecting them, and at the same time, understood the qualities to look for in a good friend. With a continued focus on impacting children’s lives, Sophia is now studying at the University of San Diego to become an elementary school teacher.  Great work, Sophia!
