Every CYT cast votes on one award, and it has nothing to do with the size of a role. 🌹

The Rose of Sharon Award goes to the cast member their castmates chose as the most Christ-like: helpful, considerate, positive and encouraging to others from auditions through the final bow. Jesus is called the “Rose of Sharon,” and Paul reminds us that we carry the sweet aroma of Christ to everyone we meet.

Congratulations to our Annie Rose of Sharon recipient Pepper Porter. Your cast noticed how you loved them, and so did we.

“But thanks be to God, Who always leads us in His triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are the fragrance of Christ to God.” (2 Corinthians 2:14–15)

Thank you, Annie families, for an unforgettable run.

Winter class hosts needed! Volunteers, help us keep the hallways safe and joyful while students learn, laugh, and grow. Setting the examples of Character and Christlike models that just want to be part of the kids lives, while protecting the culture of CYT. Winter classes begin October 19. Sign up by emailing Palma.

Class hosts are the quiet heroes of our studio. You'll work one class period all session. You’ll greet students, help watch the hallways, and support our teachers with whatever comes up from an ice pack or bandaid need, join the laughter of snack breaks. It’s a behind-the-scenes way to serve, and you get a front-row view of what God is doing in these students every week

Winter classes begin October 19. Every volunteer completes a background check and training, which are good for 3 years. If you’re interested please email Elise.
