Join Books Through Bars & Hearts On A Wire on Wednesday, May 5th from 6:30-8:30 for Literary Liberation!
This is an educational event for anyone interested in low-risk advocacy for people who are incarcerated. We’ll chat about our work and then dive into volunteering tasks! Snacks & masks will be provided.

In addition to personal reflections and creative expressions of our incarcerated members, Hearts on a Wire's 41st issue features articles highlighting the importance of collective action and support from outside to address the needs of incarcerated trans and nonbinary individuals facing discrimination and violence, and includes personal stories of self-advocacy around housing, dress code, medical care, and name changes.
