We have a bittersweet announcement to share with our community. This week marked the official last day for our Performing Arts Manager, Autumn Blalock.

As Autumn begins a new chapter in her life, we at Allens Lane are reflecting on how much she has meant to our Center and to our creative community. There really aren’t words to express how integral Autumn has been to the development and success of our Live @ The Lane performing arts series.

Autumn truly is the GOAT! Her passion and vision have guided every production. Behind the curtain, she wore many hats: production manager, assistant stage manager, lighting and sound board operator, set builder, program designer… and she did it all with a positive, radiant spirit that inspires and uplifts everyone around her.

We are deeply grateful for Autumn’s creativity and tireless dedication. We will greatly miss having her here and being surrounded by her infectious enthusiasm.

But this isn’t a farewell.

True to her unwavering commitment to championing the performing arts, Autumn will continue to guide Live @ The Lane into its next season. We are filled with gratitude for the devotion and care she has given Live @ The Lane and for her continued support as we move through this transition.

Autumn, thank you for everything you have given to Allens Lane. Your impact is woven into this place and into the lives of so many people who have had the privilege of working with you and experiencing performing arts here. We look forward to seeing you around.

WE LOVE YOU, AUTUMN! ❤❤❤

What does it mean to be in community?

This fall, Allens Lane Art Center invites you to explore that question through In Community, a group exhibition featuring eleven artists of Joined Hands Artists Collective.

Through watercolor, fiber, collage, mixed media, ceramics, and photography, the artists explore the connections between people, animals, and the natural world—and the relationships and shared environments that give us a sense of belonging.

But In Community is also a reflection of the collective's own story. What began as a gathering of artists from different backgrounds has grown into an enduring creative partnership rooted in friendship, encouragement, challenge, and shared discovery.

Featuring:
Asake Jones
Elena Aldrete
Elke Muller
Gail Loyd
Gloria Davis
Jesse White
Lynda Grace
Maura Williams
Rebecca Hoenig
Rosalind Dutton
Ruth A. Seeley
