APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!

Philly jazz musicians, how could $500 help you right now? Maybe you’re facing a housing hardship, an unexpected medical bill, or your instrument was damaged on the road. Whatever the unexpected expense, Jazz Bridge wants to help.

Our Musician Assistance Grants provide $500 in emergency assistance to Philly-area jazz and blues musicians experiencing financial hardship.

Applications are open now through September 18.

Sauce Boss is an instrumental neo-soul and funk collective whose debut single, “Gut Bucket,” features rapper, saxophonist, and trumpeter Tennishu of Butcher Brown. Released in early 2026, the single combines Sauce Boss’s groove-driven sound with Tennishu’s vocals and musicianship and is available on all major streaming platforms.

Jazz Bridge is partnering with Cellar Dog Philly for a special fundraiser benefiting our Musician’s Assistance Fund, featuring Doug Drewes, Byron Landham, and Neil Podurski. No cover, and sit-ins are welcome. We’ll also be raffling off tickets to MONTCO Jazz Fest, our Neighborhood Shows, The Keswick Theater, and more.

Jazz Bridge is proud to partner with Cellar Dog Philly for a special fundraiser benefiting our Musician Assistance Fund. This performance will feature Doug Drewes, Byron Landham, and Neil Podurski.

Sit-ins are welcome, so bring your axe! Instrumentalists and vocalists are invited to join the band for the open session.
