Freedom for Mabel thanks to Jayne Archer-Jenkins Kim Goldman! This gentle girl lost her lifelong home when her elderly owner became unable to care for her. As expected, Mabel was not comfortable going to shelter, though she was a favorite there. She seems quite happy to be in her wonderful foster home. Welcome to rescue, sweetie.♡

Folks, our raffle has gotten off to a slow start. All profits from our fundraisers go to care for our dogs. Our vet bills are never-ending. Along with usual needs and more severe health issues, almost every baby we take in needs dental care -- we all know how expensive that is. In the last 2 weeks, we've welcomed 7 doxies to Long Dogs, including Deeks' beautiful lady friend Kensi (who needed multiple extractions and 2 fistula repairs). And we hope we can help another pair. None are fully vetted. All are precious.

Our three prizes include a $25 Starbucks giftcard, a 10.1" Pastigio digital photo frame, and a very cool 3D doxie model, "Cute Dachshund Dog World". Additional photos below.

Our bouncy Bella is forever home, and both she and her new mom are thrilled! She also has a playful doxie brother to match her energetic enthusiasm -- so lots of playtime, extra attention for Bella, her favorites. Robin is safe thanks to Brandi Coleman Casagranda Eugenie Bryant Kim Tumlison! 5 years, a chubby 14 lbs, surrendered to a rural shelter, she's sweet and smart, fine with the other dogs in her foster home. Welcome to rescue, beautiful girl!♡

Our sweet Dixie and Chocco are forever home and their new mom was just delighted to meet them! They also have a dad and a giant fenced yard to explore, just about their favorite activity. This is the pair whose owner passed away just after giving them to us. So grateful to all who helped Dixie and Chocco on the way to this great day -- Susan Moon Lynne Burford Leanne Richardson Connie Martin Bevill and all their wonderful transporters! Happy lives, my sweet love bugs.♡

New foster Frannie was found walking in the middle of a highway. Thankfully, she was picked up by a kind lady. The daughter of Frannie's deceased owners was found, could not care for Frannie. She's a sweet, easy going girl, likes people, other dogs. If you are able to help with the cost of Frannie's vetting -- spay, dental, growth removal, BW, vax, eye check -- we'll be most appreciative. Frannie is a gentle doll.♡
