You can order a wreath for your Veteran in person by October 31st and online only after that date until the first week in December. Wreaths are placed at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. You may also pick your wreath up and place it in another cemetery for your Veteran. Someone is available at the History Center in Petersburg to help you. Chapter members Marcia Laswell Yates . Jeannine Heuring Houchins , Sandy McBeth, and Jennifer Trowbridge Uppencamp attended the second of the two day event planned by Chapter member Carissa Falls Thomas. The "Stories Beneath the Stones" event was wonderful! She did an excellent job in researching and planning it all out. Nothing like walking through a cemetery at night that is lit up with lamps throughout the stones.

Member Carissa Thomas, far right, is hosting a two night event at the Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City, Indiana. She researched the history of 15 individuals buried in the cemetery. Actors portrayed these individuals and told their stories to those attending the cemetery walk. Carissa did a fantastic job. Members Lisa Sims, Shirley Jenkins and Denise Schnarr (left to right) attended the Saturday night tour, members Marcia Yates, Jeannine Houchins, Sandy McBeth and Jennifer Uppencamp attended the Sunday Evening tour. Congrats Carissa!
