🌟 Volunteer Spotlight 🌟

Meet one of the faces behind Pike County CASA! Today we’re excited to recognize one of the incredible volunteers who helps give children in Pike County a voice when they need it most.

✨ Randa Lecocq ✨

Randa is a dedicated hairstylist who has been married to her husband, Dewayne, for 17 years. She is a proud mom to two teenagers and two dogs who mean the world to her. Outside of work, Randa enjoys spending quality time with her family, cheering on her kids at sporting events, being outdoors, and fitting in a great workout whenever she can.

Randa chose to become a CASA volunteer because she understands firsthand how vital it is for a child to have someone solely focused on their best interests. After spending years navigating the court system with her husband, she witnessed the powerful impact of an exceptional Guardian ad Litem assigned to their case. That advocate’s unwavering commitment to the child left a lasting impression and inspired Randa to step into this role herself. Through CASA, she is passionate about ensuring that children have a strong, consistent voice in the courtroom.

We are grateful for an amazing volunteer like Randa! ❤️💙

🌟 Volunteer Spotlight 🌟

Meet one of the faces behind Pike County CASA! Today we’re excited to recognize one of the incredible volunteers who helps give children in Pike County a voice when they need it most.

✨ Jennifer Ficklin ✨

Jennifer is a lifelong Pike County resident who is deeply invested in her community. She teaches kindergarten and also works as a tumbling instructor right here in Pike County. Outside of work, Jennifer’s favorite thing to do is spend time with her family—especially her eight-year-old daughter, who keeps her busy. Together, they love camping and spending time outdoors.

Jennifer previously served as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters, where she discovered how much she enjoyed working with youth. After learning about the CASA program a few years ago and witnessing many heartbreaking situations her students faced as a teacher, she knew she wanted to find a way to help. Being a voice for children in vulnerable situations felt like the right place to start.

Jennifer has been a CASA volunteer for a year and a half. While the role isn’t always easy, she finds it incredibly rewarding to know she is helping children and families right here in her community.

We are grateful for an amazing volunteer like Jenn! ❤️💙

🎄✨ What an incredibly successful Christmas party hosted by Pike County CASA and DCS! Pictured is only part of the amazing team of people who work tirelessly on behalf of the children of Pike County. We are truly blessed to have such a dedicated, compassionate group serving our community. ❤️

Because of the generosity and support of so many, we were able to help provide a wonderful Christmas for many children right here in Pike County. None of this would have been possible without our incredible donors.

🎃 Candy Donations Needed! 🍭
Pike County CASA and Pike County DCS are teaming up to host a fun trick-or-treating event for the children in our community! We’re currently accepting candy donations to help make the evening extra sweet.
If you’d like to donate, please drop off candy at the bin outside the CASA office located on the first floor of the court house.
Thank you for helping us make this a safe and happy Halloween for our kids! 👻💛
