This year, volunteers from JE Dunn, the University of Toledo, and Bowling Green State University participated in Clean Your Streams 365, picking up trash and helping keep litter out of our watersheds!

Every cleanup makes a difference—and when we work together year-round, those small efforts add up to a big impact. Thank you to all of our dedicated volunteers for helping protect our waterways! 🧤♻️

Thank you to everyone who volunteered to remove more than 41 pounds of litter and fireworks debris from Side Cut Metropark. Fireworks may only last a few moments, but the debris they leave behind can introduce heavy metals, microplastics, and other pollutants into our streams and rivers.

Every cleanup makes a difference for cleaner water and healthier habitats. 🌊♻️

There's still one more opportunity to get involved! Join tomorrow's post–Fourth of July cleanup at Glass City Metropark from 5:30–7:00 p.m. Use the link to sign up!

Thanks to the collaboration with the City of Toledo, and our amazing volunteers, we helped protect our local waterways by marking 64 storm drains and distributing 214 educational door hangers throughout the neighborhoods surrounding Heatherdowns and Byrne.

Every marked drain is a reminder that only rain belongs in the storm drain. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to help keep our waterwaysvclean! 🌎💧
