Memphis producer Tay Keith has passed away at the age of 29.

News of Tay Keith's death began circulating on social media on Thursday (June 18), with several rappers reacting to the reports in disbelief. Tay's death was later confirmed. According to local Tennessee news station WSMV 4, the beat maker, born Brytavious Chambers, was found dead in his Nashville, Tenn., apartment. No foul play is suspected by police, who found Tay's body during a welfare check. His cause of death has not been released.

Tay Keith was preceded in death by his mom, who passed away in 2021 following a battle with cancer.

Tay Keith was one of the hottest producers of the last decade, having produced hit records for Drake ("Nonstop"), Travis Scott ("Sicko Mode"), Sexyy Red ("Pound Town"), Key G***k ("Russian Cream"), DJ Khaled ("Every Chance I Get") Blocboy JB ("Look Alive") and more.

XXL has reached out to Tay Keith's team for comment.

Congratulations to Youthsleftbehind Corp, on your new location & success in your Resource Day!

Thank you for the incredible work you do every day to redirect, empower, and reroute our youth toward brighter, more productive futures ✨ Your commitment to providing guidance, support, and opportunity is helping shape the next generation and create lasting change in our community. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with an organization that believes every young person deserves hope, purpose, and the chance to succeed.

Every life is worth saving.

Naloxone (Narcan/ Padagis/ Rivive/ Kloxxado) is a lifesaving medication that can rapidly reverse an opioid overdose and provide someone with a second chance at life. It is safe, easy to administer, and available to anyone who may encounter an overdose emergency.

Having Naloxone on hand doesn’t encourage substance use—it empowers youth, families, businesses, and communities to respond when it matters most. Just as we keep fire extinguishers for emergencies, we should have Naloxone available to save lives.

We are truly honored to have delivered our seventh stand within Northwest Florida area located at Moreno Court Housing and to have YLB aboard Operation Access, along with Area Housing for their support! We can’t wait to share lifesaving overdose prevention information, power of choices and the Jayla’s story, as the first speaker in your new space 💜

Carry Naloxone.
Every breath matters.
Every second counts.

We are still celebrating 🎉

We would like to congratulate our board advisor, Keithina Nicole Dixon, on an amazing 10-year celebration this past weekend where many came together to celebrate her outpouring into our local community and beyond!

For a decade, Keithina has dedicated her time, passion, and heart to uplifting others through community programs, advocacy, mentorship, and service. Her commitment to creating opportunities, supporting families, and strengthening our community has made a lasting impact on countless lives.

We are grateful for her leadership, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to serving others. The work she has done over the past 10 years through Real Women Radio is a testament to what can be accomplished when one person chooses to make a difference.

Congratulations on this incredible milestone! Grateful for your belief in mission of Jayla’s Voice and so happy we had the opportunity to celebrate, share and educate at the expo for our third year! We made some valuable connections while providing valuable skills and resources to those who did not know about what was available to them.

Keithina your journey continue to inspire, empower, and transform lives for many years to come.
