A respected leader in financial services, Randy Pople has held key leadership positions in banking, trust, and estate planning while sharing his expertise with organizations dedicated to education and community advancement. He is a
member of the Board of Trustees of Tallahassee Collegiate Academy
and previously served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Tallahassee Community College (now Tallahassee State College).

His impact extends throughout the Tallahassee community, where he has served numerous civic organizations and contributed his expertise to initiatives that benefit the region.

Dr. Iris Davis Pendleton ’05 has dedicated more than 21 years to early childhood education, advocacy, and community leadership. As an Assistant Professor at Tallahassee State College and Founder of Camp Summer Garden, she is passionate about empowering children and families, including those impacted by autism and other developmental differences.

Her dedication to education and service has earned her recognition as one of the Tallahassee Democrat’s “25 Women You Need to Know” and a National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) Award for Teaching Excellence.

Kathy Mears ’00 has dedicated more than 25 years to public service across the state of Florida. Throughout her career, she has held key leadership roles in the Florida Legislature and Governor’s Office and currently serves as Assistant Commissioner of Agriculture for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Her dedication to strengthening communities has left a lasting impact statewide.

Last week, our President’s Circle members kicked off the year with our first Inside the Circle event! 🦅✨

Members got a firsthand look inside TSC’s VR Career and Major Exploration Lab, putting on the goggles and experiencing simulations designed to help students explore careers and discover the paths that may be right for them.

It was an exciting evening highlighting just one of the many innovative resources available for TSC students.

A transformational investment is coming to Wakulla County! 🎉

Tallahassee State College has been awarded $17,064,633 from the U.S Economic Development Administration to construct a new 22,000-square -foot Workforce Training & Resilience Facility at the Wakulla Environmental Institute.

Combined with more than $10 million from Triumph Gulf Coast, this investment will expand access to education and hands-on training in high-demand fields including healthcare, education, environmental sciences, marine service technologies, construction trades, and more.
