Green Acres Rescue Created to respond to the increase in stray, abandoned and unwanted animals in Escambia County, Fl.

We are a 501(c)3 established to assist with stray, abandoned and unwanted dogs. We are volunteer based and rely on donations to feed, shelter and provide medical care for those dogs rescued off the streets.

Look at this beauty. This is Ally. She is one of the feral puppies trapped, living in a hollow tree stump in the woods. She was so frightened when she arrived and now jusy blossemed into a "playful puppy". Just like it should be. She is about 5 months old, had her first round of shots. Scheduled for spay. Puppies and more puppies....14 in all. We created an Amazon wishlist if you'd like to donate supplies! All have been to their initial vet appt, checked out and dewormed. All in perfect health. I can't stop loving on them. Love me some puppy breath. They are a little over 4 weeks and weaning nicely.

🐶 Dingo just got his Good Citizens Certificate!!

We celebrated with a pool day! Dingo is waiting for his new home, he's great with people, kids, other dogs. Now he's a good citizen! Sounds perfect?

This handsome boy was found wandering a Beulah neighborhood until he stumbled upon a kind couple who fostered him until we had space at our facility. They named him Dingo for the obvious reason—he looks just like one.

🌼The Basics:

• Breed: Cattle Dog / Terrier Mix
• Age: 1 1/2 year old
• Weight: 55 lbs
• Health: Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

🤪Personality:

Dingo is as sweet as can be and has the most striking, beautiful eyes. He is incredibly friendly with both people and dogs..

Meet Sydney — The Independent Little Explorer! Pensacola, Fl

Sydney is a female Black Mouth Cur mix puppy with a bright spirit and a gentle heart. She and her siblings were found on a quiet country road, and despite such a rough start, Sydney has blossomed into a confident, curious girl who loves discovering the world at her own pace.

Personality & Habits

Sydney is a smart, self-entertaining puppy who enjoys a good variety of toys and keeps herself busy like a pro. She's crate trained, uses puppy pads, and is already showing great potential for easy house training as she grows.

Social Skills
She's friendly, sweet, and enjoys being around people. She's still young, so her experiences with other animals and children are developing — but her gentle nature makes her a wonderful candidate for a loving home ready to guide her.

Momma dog, 2-3 yrs old and puppy, 8-12 months found in Beulah area. Mom is HW positive and has been vaccinated, puppy is healthy and vaccinated. No microchips. The finder has vetted them and is paying for both to be spayed. They are pitty mixes and both very sweet girls. The finder already has 2 dogs and cannot keep them but can hold them until an adopter is found. It is unknown at this time if founder will sponsor heartworm treatment but it is possible that we can find a sponsor. If interested, please email greenacresrescueinc.org.
