Huge Thank you to the Mary in a Martha World & Battle Ready DGroups from First Baptist Church Pelham for their donation of 30 hygiene bags for our Community Connect Day next Saturday from 9am-1pm!

And guess what.....this is not even half the bags we are set to receive! So, please come out and grab one. We hope to see you there!

Going Deeper was this year’s theme at ACRM’s annual retreat, and our Executive Director, Amanda Claridy, had the opportunity to do just that over the past few days.

Throughout the year, ACRM provides valuable trainings that strengthen our ministries and help us better serve our clients. Once a year, they also set aside time to pour into us as leaders so we can continue to pour into others.

The Resting Place is thankful to be part of what God is doing through ACRM and so many other ministries!

Thank you to Cook Ministries for inviting us out to Superhero Fire- their annual su***de awareness event this past Saturday. We met some incredible ministries and expanded our network of community partners!

There will be vendors from all over Alabama, including those focused on human trafficking, homelessness, recovery centers, domestic violence, counseling, su***de prevention, veterans' services, and many more.
