THANK YOU!

Our little gardeners were busy this week! They transplanted the green beans they started growing two weeks ago into outdoor planters and planted turnip and mustard green seeds in peat pots inside the greenhouse!

Snack Time: Letter C! This week’s healthy treats were cantaloupe and cucumber!

We’re planting seeds, growing knowledge, and nurturing young minds one week at a time! 🌻❤️

Different Stories. One Sisterhood. A shared commitment to Breast Cancer Awareness.

This October, the Shelby Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. honors survivors, supports those facing breast cancer and remembers the loved ones we carry in our hearts. Behind every pink ribbon is a person, a family, and a story that matters. Let's turn awareness into action, prioritize your breast health, make time for recommended screenings, and check on someone who needs support.

Wear Pink 10/23/26. Show Up. Stand Together.

WHAT A DAY! WHAT A VIBE! WHAT A PURPOSE!
Thank you to everyone who came out to the Que/ Delta Takeover and partied with a purpose!
The party may be over, but the impact continues! Thank you for being part of something bigger than the party. Until next time… we took over for a PURPOSE!

Today Shelby Area Alumnae Chapter recognizes National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.

October 2026 is the 39th annual Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month which is a time for remembrance and support and an opportunity to highlight how common these tragedies truly are. It is estimated that roughly 1 in 4 pregnancies result in miscarriage.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports about 5.5 infant deaths per 1,000 live births and that stillbirth affects 1 in 185 births.
If you and your family have experienced such a devastating loss, please know that you are not alone. We see you, we honor you and we support you year-round.
