Post 555 is dedicated to 2Lt. Matthew Blount, deceased son of Barry and Terrie Blount as the Post’s namesake. The official designation is the American Legion Matthew Blount Post 555. The official meeting facility is the Pelham Senior Center, 50 Racquet Club Parkway, Pelham, Alabama 35124. Meeting first Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM. The primary mission of Matthew Blount Post 555 is service to

Veterans, the Community and the Youth. Matthew Blount Post 555 is a total Legion family that includes the Sons of American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary and the Legion Riders.

WWII Veterans Ceremony
As part of our 250th Year celebration, we are hosting a public ceremony to honor WWII veterans and their families. If you know any living WWII veterans in your family, church, or neighborhood, please invite them to attend as our honored guests. Additionally, we will have a display table available for photos of your family members who served in WWII. The display will be open for viewing before the ceremony and for 15 minutes immediately following it.

Roadhouse is supporting the Legion Post 555 by donating 10 percent of a meal cost back to the Post, lets get out and show some support to the Texas Roadhouse.
Also Post 555 Aux unit will be attending and will have a table set up to sell some goodies and alike to show their support to the Legion Post 555.
