🎯 SEEING A NEED. MEETING A NEED. CHANGING LIVES. 🎯

What an incredible honor to be among the many nonprofits selected to receive support from the Pearland Lions Club! 🦁❤️

Being in a room filled with so many servant-hearted people who care deeply about our community was both inspiring and humbling. This year alone, the Pearland Lions Club distributed more than $150,000 to local charities and organizations serving real needs right here at home. What an incredible testament to the power of community generosity! 💙

The dollars distributed from Tuesday night's event will directly help provide free and reduced-cost counseling services for local children, adults, couples, and families who otherwise could not afford care. Counseling Connections currently has a $383,000 Access to Care subsidy gap that must be filled to ensure our neighbors can continue receiving the support they need. Because of organizations like the Pearland Lions Club that truly care about local community needs, we are able to continue this mission of strengthening mental health and expanding access to care for those who need it most. ❤️

We are also grateful that the Pearland Lions Club will once again be our champions for the 9th Annual Drive-Thru BBQ on October 25th, generously cooking and preparing the chicken that makes this event such a community favorite! 🍗🔥

Want to support their amazing work? Check out their 51-Gun Fundraiser on August 29th and their 75th Annual Turkey Shoot at Providence Church on October 17th & 18th. 🦃🎯 (Don't worry—no actual turkeys are harmed, just clay pigeons! 😄)

From the very beginning of founding Counseling Connections, we knew it would take a compassionate community coming together to help carry this mission forward.

Today, we are incredibly honored and grateful to be a recipient of a Community Grant from Walmart! 🎉👏

Through our partnership with League City United Methodist Church, this support helps provide FREE and reduced mental health counseling services for children, families, and individuals in our community who may otherwise go without care. 🫶🧠✨

Now more than ever, our neighbors are struggling — and together, we can be part of the solution. Community support makes this mission possible, and if you’ve ever wanted to make a tangible difference in someone’s healing journey, this is it. 💚
