Brazoria County Pride is incredibly proud to congratulate our outgoing Treasurer and founding board member, David Edwards, on being recognized as one of Brazoria County’s Top Leaders Under 40 for 2026 by The Facts newspaper!

From helping establish Brazoria County Pride to serving as our Treasurer, David has been instrumental in building a stronger, more sustainable organization. His leadership, dedication, and countless hours of volunteer service have helped lay the foundation for the growth and success we’ve experienced over the years. His commitment to our mission and to the LGBTQ+ community has made a lasting impact that will continue to be felt for years to come.

While we are sad to see David step away from the Board, we are excited to see all that he will accomplish in this next chapter. This recognition is well deserved and reflects the passion, integrity, and leadership he brings to everything he does.

On behalf of the entire Brazoria County Pride family, thank you, David, for your service, your vision, and your unwavering commitment to our organization. We wish you nothing but continued success and know you’ll continue making a positive difference throughout our community.

First, we want to apologize for the late announcement. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to make a last-minute change to this month’s Out With Pride location.

The good news? We’re excited to invite everyone to join us at The Dirty South in Angleton this Thursday, July 16, from 7:00–9:00 PM!

Come enjoy an evening of community, conversation, and connection with LGBTQ+ friends, allies, and supporters from across Brazoria County. Whether it’s your first time joining us or you’re a regular, everyone is welcome!

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked through this unexpected change. We can’t wait to see everyone for another fantastic evening together!

Just a quick heads-up: our July Coffee Social has been moved to Saturday, July 11 instead of our usual first Saturday.

Since the July 4th holiday falls on our regular Coffee Social weekend, we wanted everyone to have the chance to spend the holiday with family and loved ones before joining us the following weekend.

We can't wait to catch up with everyone over coffee in a welcoming, inclusive space. Whether you're a familiar face or joining us for the first time, you're always welcome.
