It was an exciting week for the teen campers of Lokai Rose! We had an adventure-filled Sunday beginning with a hike to the top of the Surprise Lake Loop, where we enjoyed a beautiful view of Greenwood Lake and found some critters along the way 🐍🐛

After our hike, it was time to embark on our yacht ride with The Greenwood Lake Experience☀️🛥️Not only did our campers get to enjoy a double-decker yacht with dueling waterslides, but Greenwood Lake Marina went out of their way to provide a ton of swim platforms for everyone to enjoy, and even helped us put together a bonus tubing experience for our campers! We cannot thank them enough for making this such a wonderful experience for our campers every year 🫶

We enjoyed vegan tacos on the yacht for dinner, and vegan s'mores for dessert...It doesn't get much better than that!

We say it all the time, but we mean it every time; we have the BEST campers and we are so grateful!✨

This past Monday, Lokai Rose kicked off our brand-new Teen Trip with an unforgettable day at the Adventure Aquarium! 🦈🌊

We spent the day exploring exhibits, learning all about ocean life, and attending educational programs led by the aquarium's animal care team. We watched animal feedings, learned about the species that call the aquarium home, and enjoyed some of the experiences the aquarium is best known for.

One of the highlights of the day was our exclusive behind-the-scenes tour! We got to see the medical center, rehabilitation center, and quarantine area, and even went above the sea turtle habitat for a unique perspective you don't get during a regular visit.

At Lokai Rose, it's important to us that as our campers grow older, they continue to have meaningful opportunities to learn about and connect with wildlife through exciting new experiences.

Of course, no great trip is complete without food! We started the day with bagels for breakfast and wrapped it up with dinner and milkshakes on the ride home🥯

It was a great day trip, and we can't wait for more adventures! 🪸🐠
