Huge thanks to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey! Thanks to their support, we were able to secure a new forklift for our operations.

This essential piece of equipment will help us move, store, and distribute food faster and more efficiently to our neighbors in need. We are deeply grateful for The Community FoodBank of New Jersey's investment in our work and their ongoing partnership!

From Farmers to Families: Investing in SNAP Matters!

From August 17–21, join us in taking action to support our communities, local farmers, and families! Food security starts with policy, and your voice can make a direct impact.

Here is how you can advocate each day:

Monday – Invest in the Power of SNAP: Contact your representatives to demand full funding for SNAP programs that nourish families and fuel local economies.

Tuesday – Address the Cost Shift: Raise awareness about how shifting program costs onto state budgets harms vulnerable populations—share your story or post to spread the word.

Wednesday – Reverse the Cuts: Urge lawmakers to oppose proposed funding cuts and reinstate critical benefits for households in need.

Thursday – Protect Children’s Access to Food: Champion school meal programs and child nutrition initiatives by contacting your local school board and federal officials.

Friday – Reach out to State and Local Leaders: Send an email, make a call, or tag your state and city representatives on social media to demand strong, local advocacy for SNAP funding.

What will you do to support your community? Take action each day to ensure families don't go without!

Huge thanks to our friends at the Passaic County Education Associations for another amazing donation of reusable bags!

Having sturdy bags makes a world of difference for the families who visit CUMAC. It allows our guests to carry their groceries home with dignity and allows our team to pack home deliveries to take to our homebound guests! We are so grateful for PCEA's continued partnership and commitment to supporting our community!
