The Friends of Wallisch Homestead is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to the preservation, rehabilitation, and adaptive reuse of a historic homestead in West Milford, NJ. It is one of the last remaining properties that reflects Northern New Jersey's agricultural heritage and West Milford’s past. The Friends believe the Wallisch Farmstead offers a variety of historic, cultural, and recreational uses for both residents and visitors. Our immediate goal is to preserve the buildings from further damage. Our long-term goal is to work with the community to reuse the buildings in keeping with their scenic and historic setting. The Friends of Wallisch Homestead is incorporated as a nonprofit organization.
