The Bayside Overlook landscaping is complete. These plants were required by AACO and need to be kept alive! Please keep dogs and children off the mulch so the plants can grow. They are native plants that will help with erosion control and storm water filtration. Evergreen Gene’s will be by next week to review the work.

Please be careful at the community property. There is netting down there that is a tripping hazard. Evergreen Gene’s will be back tomorrow to hopefully finish the county’s required landscaping.

May is Tick-borne Disease Awareness month. Remember to check yourself and your children after going outside. Spring 2026 has been a severe tick season across Maryland with earlier and higher than average activity.

Lyme disease is the most commonly reported tick-borne disease in Maryland.

Hello neighbors! We wanted to share a quick update and see if anyone could offer assistance.

As you know, the bayside shoreline construction is complete and now we are moving to the next required phase.

As part of the county’s requirements, we need to plant:

65 goldenrods
65 switch grass
2 river birch trees

Between this and paying back our loan for the reconstruction, our funds are stretched thin, so we’re reaching out to you to ask if anyone knows of a landscaping company that might be willing to donate time, materials, or offer a community discount. Also, after the heavy equipment used during construction, the soil along the pathway is very compacted. The area has been seeded, but it’s struggling to grow in some areas. If anyone has access to a lawn aerator (or know someone who does), we would love to borrow or rent one to help restore the area.

Many thanks to our residents who paid community dues/donations this year. We raised $2,205 in resident payments along with $100 from the Rumor Meal fundraiser for a total of $2,305 so far for 2026! Your participation and contributions are appreciated!
