Sending a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Mount Pleasant Beach Improvement Association Block Party yesterday. Even though Mother Nature pushed us indoors we still had a great time filled with amazing food, great music and friendly faces!

Congratulations to our chili cookoff contestants, it was a close contest, the scores were very close, 81 to 78 points. Mona Hasenbein took first place with 81 total points and George Hampton right behind her with 78 points! Thanks to all who participated and all the judges!

Some of us braved the rain and did play in the co****le tournament, but unfortunately, it wasn't finished due to the heavy rain. Still had fun though!

Thank you to all who helped put this together, set up and cleaning crew afterwards! A special thank you to George Hampton who put all this together, Dixie for helping with the shopping and Oliver Janney who donated his DJ services for the day. Thank you all for support our community.

Good Morning All!
Unfortunately the weather is not looking all that great so we are moving festivities into the hall! Weather permitting Co****le is still on and in addition we're looking to see if we can put the co****le boards inside in case it rains.
Chili cookoff is still going on too!
We have plenty of food!
So come out and enjoy some time with your neighbors!

Hi neighbors! Great news! The beach driveway that the golf carts use—where the holes and ruts were—has been fixed for now. There may still need to be some gravel put down, but for now, it's much easier to get in and out!

Good evening all. Everyone should have gotten the notification on the MPB block party. THANK YOU Anna, Jeff and family for distributing to the community.

In order to ensure we have enough food for everyone we asking if you plan to attend that you RSVP via text to George by September 12th.

Also we're going to have a chili cookoff so we need contestants and judges! When RSVPing please let him know if you would like to participate in the chili cookoff.

An Amazon package containing pool stabilizer was delivered to the wrong address today. If you received a package that isn’t yours, or know where it may have been delivered, please let me know.

🏖️ A Friendly Reminder About Our Beach Area 🏖️

Just a friendly reminder to everyone using our community beach area to please follow the posted rules and help keep the beach safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Most importantly, please do not bring glass containers onto the beach. We’ve been seeing more and more broken glass in the area, and it’s becoming a real concern. Several members of our community bring their pets down to enjoy the beach, and broken glass can cause serious injuries to them—as well as to children and other beachgoers.

Please also remember to clean up after yourself and leave the beach area as you found it (or better!). We all share this space, and keeping it clean and safe is something we can easily do together.

I know we’re a community that cares about our neighborhood, and I know we can do better. ❤️
