As mentioned in our previous message, we have continued to closely monitor weather conditions. Due to snow squalls in the area, forecasted lake-effect snow showers, and ongoing winter weather, all school and district activities will be canceled tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28. Please use extra caution if you must travel, and stay safe and warm.

Due to extremely cold temperatures, Parma City School District will be closed on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. All student activities are canceled for the day and evening. However, the Board Meeting (rescheduled from last week) will take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday 1/20/26 in the Normandy Media Center. Stay safe and warm!

Ticket sales for the event are critically low. If we do not sell enough tickets by end of day Monday 12/8, the event will be cancelled and all purchases will be refunded.

Holiday Shop is here at John Muir! Monday 12/8 - Friday 12/12!

Give your students the opportunity to buy small gifts for the family this holiday season, out of sight, but with the peace of mind that another grown up will help them shop (and stay in budget)! There is a variety of items for the whole family, with prices ranging from $0.50 to $15!

Students should have come home with a shopping date and envelope that can be filled out with who they need to shop for last week, but please reach out if you are unsure when your student is supposed to shop.

We are also in need of volunteers! If you have any availability to be a shopping helper this week, we would appreciate it! Sign up below:

Shifts are each day 9:30am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-3:30pm, with a break from 12-1pm for lunch and volunteer shift change.

Parma Council PTA is excited to invite you to our Annual Cultural Arts Family Engagement Night on Wednesday, October 1st, from 6:00–7:30 PM at Valley Forge High School! We’re thrilled to partner with Sky Circus Cleveland who will wow us with aerial performances, bubble artistry, and so much more.
