God didn't give us spiritual gifts to elevate ourselves above others, but to encourage, strengthen, and serve one another. 🤍

In 1 Corinthians 12:12-31, Paul reminds us that we are all part of one body in Christ. Each of us has a unique purpose, and every gift matters.

Our gifts should be used to build others up, not tear them down. When we use what God has given us to serve others, we reflect His love and shine His light. ✨

Following Hurricane Isaias, we are thankful to announce that The Church at the Beach will hold worship services tomorrow morning at our regular times of 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM in the sanctuary!

We continue to pray for everyone impacted by the storm and look forward to gathering together in worship tomorrow! ❤️

🏈 Draft Day Celebration was one for the books! 🎉

Thank you to everyone for your support, excitement, and patience as each of our athletes got the BIG surprise of finding out who their coaches are this season!

We feel immensely blessed by the incredible number of athletes joining TCATB Athletics this year. We are so excited for the season ahead and grateful for every player, coach, parent, and volunteer who makes it possible. ❤️

Worship belongs to God and God alone. 🙌

As we continue through 1 Corinthians 10, Pastor Jay reminds us that nothing in our lives should compete for the place that belongs to Him. Our attention, our devotion, our praise—it all belongs to the One true God.

May we continually examine our hearts, remove the things that distract us, and keep Jesus at the center of our worship. 🤍

Reflection Friday 💭

Pastor Jay reminded us Sunday that spiritual maturity doesn’t make us immune to overconfidence. Sometimes the more secure we feel in our faith, the easier it becomes to start relying on ourselves instead of God.

So, take a moment to reflect:

In what area of your life are you most tempted to rely on your own strength rather than staying genuinely dependent on God?

“Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall.” — 1 Corinthians 10:12

Stay humble. Stay dependent. Keep your eyes on Jesus. 🙌

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the families forever changed by September 11, 2001. 🇺🇸

May we never forget the courage, sacrifice, and unity shown on that day, and may we continue to pray for our nation and for those who still carry its loss.
