🍎🌎 Our students in Ms. Viviana and Ms. Fernanda’s classrooms have been busy exploring apples and celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! ❤️💛💚

From using their senses to investigate apples to discovering the rich cultures and traditions of our Hispanic community, our little learners have been having so much fun! 🍎✨ We were especially grateful to our amazing families who shared delicious dishes from their home countries, giving our students a taste of the beautiful diversity that makes our community so special. 🇲🇽🇨🇴🇸🇻🇭🇳

A big THANK YOU to our wonderful parents for sharing their culture, traditions, and love with us! Together, we’re building a classroom community where every culture is celebrated and every family belongs. 🫶🌎

Our Head Start classrooms became a team of little explorers as they used their five senses to investigate apples! 👀👃👂✋👅 The children observed their colors, felt their textures, smelled their fresh scent, listened as we explored, and tasted different apples to discover what makes each one special.

To finish our apple investigation, each little explorer got to choose their favorite apple! ❤️💚💛

🍎❤️ Our little learners in Ms. Luz and Ms. Zenaida’s classroom had a wonderful time exploring the life cycle of apples! They practiced recognizing the letter A, identifying words that begin with this letter, and strengthening their writing skills as they practiced writing their own names. ✏️📚 Through hands-on activities and playful learning, our little friends continue to build important early literacy skills while having fun and discovering the world around them! 🍏✨
