Earlier this week, the Candace Cole Literacy Fund was formally presented to the Bay District Schools Board with an initial check. It marked the official launch of a cause rooted in love, purpose, and the legacy of one incredible woman.

Candy didn’t just support students. She believed in them. She worked in the classrooms that needed the most support, coaching teachers and helping struggling readers find their confidence. This fund was created to continue that impact in her name.

Your donation helps put books and reading tools into the hands of students across Bay County. And thanks to a generous donor, gifts will be matched up to $5,000.

Had a great days taking the Sims Veterans out for their annual dolphin cruise. We always appreciate Capt Andersons for showing us a great time and wicked wheel for the lunch afterwords.
