We meet every Thursday morning except the 4th Thursday at 7:15am at D's Breakfast and Burgers at 423 10th

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Our members develop youth as leaders through our K-Kids and Key Clubs. We are a satellite for Kids Against Hunger to provide food to hungry children and families, host a toy, food and diaper drive, provide backpacks and school supplies for children in need and more! Working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. And along the way, club members share friendship and laughter.

Flashback to the sweetest Halloween event ever! 🍬🎃 There is nothing quite like the pure joy (and chaotic energy) of handing out candy to a sea of tiny superheroes, princesses, and ghosts. Pretty sure we left with a bigger smile than they did!

Congratulations to our Kiwanian of the Year, Joan Hildebrandt!
Joan is always there for every project and event. Of note, this past year she created our new quarterly newsletter and worked tirelessly on our Co****le & Cocktails Festival fundraiser — and was such a big part of the reason our event was a success.
Joan was unable to accept the award in person, but her daughter Valerie proudly accepted it on her behalf.

The world said an unplanned pregnancy would ruin her life, but Savannah didn’t listen. 🤍

“I have so much meaning and purpose in my life now. Everything that I do matters because of my daughter. I believe in myself more. I feel stronger and smarter. I am really proud of myself. I’ve worked really hard to build a life for me and my daughter and I show up every day no matter what.”

What a wonderful Friday evening for the Manatee Sunrise Kiwanis at Pesto’s Bistro & W**e Bar — delicious food, great drinks, and conversations that made the night.
