“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” - Psalm 34:8

Summer gives us the breathing room to show our children that seeking God is a joy rather than a chore. When our children see us lingering over the Word or hear us pray when we are overwhelmed, we are modeling exactly where strength is found.

We can weave Scripture into the ordinary moments of our day. Whether we are on a car ride or folding laundry, let us look for ways to talk about His character. Truth sticks best when it is connected to the rhythm of our real lives.

“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?”
Romans 8:32

God gave up His most precious treasure while we were still in rebellion. This act is the foundation for our salvation. Since the most difficult price has already been paid, we know that God is not stingy or reluctant to help us. If He has already provided the greatest sacrifice to redeem us, we can trust Him to provide for every other need in our lives.

When we face difficult times, we can let this verse act as a mental reset. We do not have to beg or stay at a distance. Jesus’ sacrifice made it so that we can approach the throne of grace with total confidence today.

In April, Biblica held an on-site training for World Vision leaders, equipping them to use the Treasure Hunt Bible program for children ages 6-10. During the same time, 45,000 Treasure Hunt Bibles were printed in Mexico City for distribution across three Latin American countries.

This is about more than giving kids a Bible, though that alone is a treasure.

Children are welcomed into groups led by supportive Christian adults and nurtured through an exciting program that helps them understand what they read in their new Bibles. They learn to apply it to their lives. They discover that God sees them, loves them, and cares deeply about every aspect of their lives.

These children become shining lights in their communities. They talk excitedly about what they're learning, often inspiring family members to come to church with them. Parents and siblings who might never have opened a Bible are drawn in by a child's joy and curiosity.

This is shaping a whole generation in some of the hardest parts of Latin America. Pray with us for the 45,000 children receiving these Bibles. May they encounter Jesus and become lights in their communities.

Equipping Frontline Leaders at the US-Mexico Border

Biblica's leaders in Latin America have been busy the last few months, working in cities along the U.S./Mexico border. There, they equipped over 500 pastors with the Biblica Study Bible and biblical leadership training.

These pastors are on the frontlines of ministry during the ongoing border crisis. They're serving overwhelmed communities, ministering to migrants and displaced families, and desperately need resources to help them teach God's Word with confidence amid challenging circumstances.

Why the Biblica Study Bible matters:
95% of pastors worldwide lack formal theological training. They're guiding congregations with limited resources and few study materials.

The Biblica Study Bible was designed for frontline leaders:

- Clear study notes for leaders with limited theological background
- Reference material, maps, and historical information
- Designed for oral and written learning styles

When pastors receive tools that help them understand and teach Scripture effectively, entire communities are transformed.

When Trauma Overwhelms, Scripture Heals

Imagine a mother caring for her two children in a refugee camp. She tries to provide for them, protect them, and help them heal, but the weight of her own trauma makes it nearly impossible to be fully present.

Around the world, people are experiencing displacement due to war, natural disasters, persecution, and violence. Reaching a place of physical safety is only the first step. To rebuild a life, you need the firm foundation of Jesus Christ.

That's why Biblica created trauma healing resources for families in crisis.

When Your Whole World Changes brings biblical perspective to suffering in the aftermath of disaster or conflict, helping families find comfort and spiritual resilience when everything feels broken.

Survivors helps children ages 6-11 process trauma through stories and Scripture, discovering they are loved by a God who cares for them.

When trauma overwhelms, Jesus heals. He is the rock on which broken lives are rebuilt.

“Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love.” - Joel 2:13

God is not interested in performative displays or a polished image. In a world where we often feel pressured to post only our highlights, He invites us to move beyond outward religiosity. To "rend your hearts" means being vulnerable and real about our failures. He isn't looking for a picture-perfect version of us. He simply wants our honest hearts.

We never have to fear returning to God when we have messed up. He is a loving Father waiting to welcome us home with open arms.

Right Next Door, They're Waiting for the Word

Over 500 languages are spoken in Latin America. We often don't realize that so many completely different cultures exist so close to the U.S., but it's true.

In mountainous regions, in tiny villages along the Amazon River, in remote communities across the continent, millions of people are waiting for God's Word in the language in which they think, dream, and pray. They're our neighbors, yet many have never held a Bible they can fully understand.

The need is urgent. The harvest is ready. But translation work takes time, prayer, and partnership.

Will you pray with us for Latin America?

Pray for translators working tirelessly in difficult conditions. Pray for communities waiting patiently for God's Word. Pray for resources, safety, and breakthrough. Pray that every language spoken across Latin America would soon have access to Scripture.

Translating God's Word Into My Own Language

Esther* is part of a translation team bringing the New Testament into an African language spoken by about 11 million people. As both a linguist and a native speaker, she shares what this sacred work has meant:

"Translating the New Testament has been a deeply humbling and enriching journey, both linguistically and spiritually. It goes far beyond rendering words from one language into another. It is a careful stewardship of meaning, requiring faithfulness to the original text while ensuring clarity, naturalness, and relevance.

One of the key challenges has been working within the richness and diversity of our language, making thoughtful choices that communicate accurately across different communities. Each passage has called for prayerful reflection, rigorous analysis, and sensitivity to both the biblical message and the cultural context."

Translation work is painstaking, prayerful, and often invisible. But the impact is eternal. When people can read God's Word in their heart language, barriers fall away and Scripture comes alive.

Your support equips translators like Esther to bring the Bible to their own people.

Letters From Home

"The Holy Scriptures are our letters from home." — Augustine of Hippo

Scripture isn't just an ancient text. It's a personal letter from God to His children, full of wisdom and instruction, love and hope.

In its pages, we find guidance in our hardest moments, comfort in our deepest pain, and promises that anchor us when everything feels uncertain. We discover who God is and who we are in Him. We learn how to live, how to love, and how to hope.

For those who have Scripture in their own language, it's a treasure we often take for granted. But for millions around the world, these "letters from home" have never arrived. They're still waiting to read God's words to them in a language that speaks to their hearts.

That's why Bible translation matters. Every person deserves to receive their letter from home, to hear God's voice in the language of their soul, and to know they are seen, known, and deeply loved by their Heavenly Father.

Your partnership and prayers help deliver these letters to those still waiting.

“Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?” - Romans 2:4

God's patience is not silent, but generous.

Every moment He is extending His kindness as a gift with purpose, drawing us closer, softening what is hardened, and inviting us to become more like Jesus.

God isn’t waiting to catch us failing. His goodness quietly and persistently calls us to repentance as we grow closer to Him.

The love of God doesn't produce fear. It produces worship.

Today, we invite you to sit with the richness of what He offers: His forbearance, His faithfulness, His patient mercy that meets you exactly where you are. Let it move you. Carry that same spirit into your conversations, your relationships, your ordinary moments. God is Love.
