🇺🇸 𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗜𝗦 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🎉

Happy 4th of July! Today is the 44th Annual July 4th Fun Run, presented by Black Hills Energy, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!

A few race day reminders:
🇺🇸 Arrive early to allow time for parking and packet pick-up if needed.
🏃 Packet pick-up and race day registration are located in the parking lot near the pedestrian bridge.
💧 Water stations will be on mile 2 and at the finish line.
🎟️ Don’t forget to drop off your FREE raffle entry before the race! Winners will be announced at the finish line, so stick around after you finish.
🏅 Awards will be presented following the race.

Most importantly, have fun, cheer each other on, and enjoy a great start to your Independence Day while supporting Palmer Lake Elementary School!

❓ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲?
The entire course is a packed pea gravel trail, making for a beautiful and scenic run from Palmer Lake to Monument.

❓ 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱?
Yes! Strollers are welcome.

❓ 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿?
Absolutely! There’s still time to sign up and receive your race shirt and commemorative race bag while supplies last.

❓ 𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆?
No. The race is still happening as scheduled. We encourage everyone to use their own judgment regarding air quality, safety, and their personal health when deciding whether to participate.

❓ 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲?
Yes! There will be a water station at Mile 2, and bottled water will be available for all participants at the finish line.

💆 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗼! Be sure to stop by The Physio Room at the finish line, where they’ll be offering select recovery services to help you feel your best after your run.
