On Friday June 12th Palmer Lake Fire Department was dispatched to a search and rescue call for a lost hiker up by the upper reservoir. PLFD was assisted by El Paso County Search and Rescue (SAR), Palmer Lake Police Department, and El Paso County dispatch. The lost hiker was located and escorted safely by El Paso County SAR down to her vehicle. Thank you to all the assisting agencies.

On Sunday May 31st at 11:03pm Palmer Lake Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire in the Pioneer Haven neighborhood. Crews arrived on scene at 11:07pm to find a working structure fire. Due to the quick actions of the crew the scene was stabilized without further incident. We would like to thank Monument Fire Protection District, Larkspur Fire Protection District, Palmer Lake Police Department- PLPD, and El Paso Dispatch for their assistance.
