Palermo Fire would like to thank all of our mutual aid dept, Liberty Fire and Rescue, Montville Fire Dept, Freedom Fire Dept., LifeFlight of Maine, Maine State Police, Waldo County Dispatch, for their assistance yesterday with a very difficult incident in Palermo. Everyone worked together to make for a smooth incident. We appreciate how in a time of need everyone comes together for the best outcome.

Palermo Fire Dept. would like to thank Grenier Dive Services for donating his time to check all our dry hydrants. This is essential for maintaining the hydrants to verify they are not damaged or blocked and will work when needed. We are extremely grateful for your time and support.

Palermo Fire Dept. would like to congratulate Noah, Payge,and Dale for recently completing Basic Fire School. We now have 3 more interior firefighters for our town. Their hard work and dedication is the reason why Palermo is successful. Please take the time to congratulate them.

Good morning, wanted to give a quick shout out, yesterday Palermo Fire/Rescue responded mutual
Aid to Searsmont. I would like to say all
Palermo personnel are ok and accounted for. Thank you to everyone that showed up to help today. We send thoughts and prayers to our brothers and sister who were injured and to the family of the deceased firefighter. Please remember the sacrifices that these volunteers do everyday.

Palermo Fire Dept. would like to Congratulate Deputy Chief Joshua Seekins on successfully completing and obtaining his National Registry Paramedic Certification. It’s a long process and to complete this is a tremendous feat. I would like everyone to wish him a very successful career. This is just the start of a long, long career.
