It was great to welcome members of Erskine Academy’s Class of 2006 back to campus today! 🎓

The group took a tour of the school to see all the updates and changes that have taken place over the years before heading off to their official 20th reunion celebration this afternoon.

Congratulations Amy '99.

This past Saturday, we proudly presented Amy Marston ’04 with UMA’s 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award.

After earning her degree in Business Administration, Amy built a two-decade career at Central Maine Power before founding Edison Public Relations, where she now helps organizations across Maine strengthen their teams and grow their workforce.

Her impact reaches far beyond the workplace. Amy continues to serve her community through organizations like the Maine Blue Collar Scholarship Foundation and Jobs for Maine Graduates, while also giving back to UMA as a member of the Board of Visitors.

Graduation is more than a milestone. For Amy, it was the beginning of a journey that has benefited businesses and workers all across the state, and a wonderful example to the Class of 2026, and all of us, what an education from UMA makes possible. 🫎 🎓 🏆

Local student graduates with honors

Josette Evangeline Gilman graduated with honors from Cedarville Univeristy, in Ohio, on May 2, 2026, with a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcasting, journalism and digital media. Josette is the daughter of Lance and April Gilman, granddaughter of Judi Gilman, all of China, and a 2022 Erskine Academy graduate, in South China.
