We placed Tinker Belle into a foster to adopt home, to be sure that she would give her okay as well as the family accepting her into their family.

Yesterday they made it official that everyone was quite happy with each other and wanted to make it official.

We wish you all the best Tinker Belle, and we will be checking on you from time to time.

Dina is such a sweet girl.

She is a Shepherd and Heeler mix. She has grown into her lanky body. She has energy and is very smart.
She saves all her toys from the vacuum.
She will let you know if someone is outside or something.

She also likes to watch tv and chill on the couch.

She has the potential to be a great dog with the right family.

She is used to running in a fenced yard.

May be better with another dog that is energetic.

She is spayed. And up to date on vaccines.

For the past two decades, we’ve only asked for donations when truly necessary, taking pride in our ability to fulfill our mission while keeping costs low.
Unfortunately, this year has been especially challenging—due to the cases we’ve taken on, our resources are now very limited.

Adoptions have been unusually slow, and medical expenses have risen significantly.

Today is National Rescue Dog Day.
And here at K9 Resque we are proud to have been doing this for the last 19 years.

Kirby is a senior dog that was returned to us after living 10 yrs with an adopter.
He has been with us since October of 2025.
He is a great dog a Wire Haired Dachshund mix.
He is a walker full of energy kind of boy.
His only fault which is beyond his control is he requires allergy shots every 90 days.

He deserves a new home.
We are waving his adoption fee for the next two weeks in hopes of a new home can be found for him.
Applicants still need to be approved.

Kirby is still looking for a loving home.
He can be an only dog, enjoy the company of other dogs, or even live with a cat.
He’s great with older children and warms up to most people after a little time, though he can be shy at first.
Kirby loves to run and play, and going for walks is his favorite activity—he’d be happy to join you on every stroll.
He’s also a cuddler who prefers to sleep by your side.
Due to an airborne allergy, he needs injections every 90 days, but as a senior with plenty of years ahead, he’s eager to find his new family soon.

He is a Dachshund mix, 10 yrs young up to date neutered, house trained.

We have dogs that are on a waiting list to find a safe place to hang out, and we simply do not have enough homes for them to find that safe place.
We have middle aged terrier and small breed puppies, however all of the foster homes we currently have are full.
If you are willing to help out even for a couple of months it would be a blessing for us and the dogs and puppies.
Short term is fine, some of them their owner died and they would just never do well in a shelter setting, they deserve to be in a home as they were used to wait to find a new family.

if you are in or around the okeechobee, fort pierce or port St Lucie area, and would be willing to help us out for even a month, please send us a message.

Dina is ready to find a new family she still needs to have some socialization and she needs to be away from her brother who she likes to bully.
She is great with other dogs and respects them. She is a shepherd healer mix we believe and has lost of energy.
Has never been with younger children but would be great for teenagers as she is a teen herself, lol
She is house trained, will use a pad if absolutely necessary. loves to play ball or catch or chase, loves toys but will chew them up she is an aggressive chewer but only for toys, never tried to chew anything else.
Once she trusts you, she gives you her heart, and those eyes can melt hearts.
Looking for a home with a fenced in yard that is a must... please consider helping Dina find a new home so can continue to progress into a great girl, could be a foster to adopt as well.
