Today I presented my autism bill, HB 591: Children with Developmental Disabilities, in its fourth and final committee, where it passed unanimously for a fourth time. I’m grateful to be able to run this bill and look forward to presenting it on the house floor.

The Agency for Persons with Disabilities’ (APD) website now offers an online application for services. Check it out here.

If you haven’t applied yet, I would urge you to do so. If you have questions, please contact me.

In many instances, the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) can verify Florida residency for applicants through information provided on the application form. If necessary, APD may request additional information or documentation to verify residency.

We have a HUGE announcement!

Our ABA clinic will be launching June 2025! Yep, you are reading that correctly!!!! We will be offering ABA services right here in Putnam County!!!

Starting out, we will only be offering to Step Up Scholarship recipients and to private/commercial insurance plans. If your child is a recipient of the Step Up Scholarship and would be interested in ABA services, please call us at 386-546-3379 to join our waitlist!

Hello Autism Putnam friends!! I’m sorry I’ve been MIA the past few months, I started a new job and it’s been a lot. I wanted to share some exciting news with you though!! The legislative session started last week and we’re already seeing huge success for autism!! Please, read the article below about SB112 that passed the Senate floor today. I was in Tallahassee yesterday for Developmental Disabilities Day and talked with a lot of legislators about our challenges and how they can help. What I can tell you is that we have A LOT of champions in our corner!! I’ll share other bills we’re following and will keep you updated. Hope you’re all doing well! I’ll be sharing more soon!

The bill expands early intervention services, funds summer camps and incentivizes training for providers who work with kids.
