It might get a bit loud tonight in and around Palatka.

The Palatka Municipal Airport will be hosting an annual joint military training exercise this evening and into the morning hours.

The training run is expected to begin at 9 p.m. and end Saturday at 2:30 a.m. During the exercise, the airport will be closed.

"Residents in neighborhoods surrounding the airport may notice activity and noise during this time period," said Yul McNair, airport manager.
