It's been a hot minute since I last welcomed followers so HELLO TO ALL OF YOU! My name is Jonathan Shumaker and I am Commander over L0. Not only do I want to welcome you here to our page, but I'd like to welcome you to check out our other social media on Instagram and YouTube just search . Now it's true we haven't posted much on either one. The thing is we can only get content when there's storms. So just bare with us we may have some kind of weather coming in from the Gulf just have too wait and see. Anyway back to welcoming you. We have over 1.1k followers and I can't thank you guys enough for getting us there. On one more note... If you don't mind inviting your friends and families to follow us, and maybe even join us that would be awesome. Once again thank you, and we'll see you on the next chase.

Some morning clouds today in northeast Iowa and a lot more rain expected. Please if you encounter flooded roadways turn around . Some places in Iowa are already reporting almost 7 inches of rain with another 2-3 expected . Stay safe from all of us at the L0 Skywarn family .

September 11th 2001

The storm not everyone knows about. Hurricane Erin was just off the shore of New York. This is the reason the skies were so clear that day. It even affected the way the smoke moved as the towers burned.

549 PM CDT Sat Jun 27 2026

The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a

* Tornado Warning for... Southeastern Livingston County in western Kentucky... Northwestern Marshall County in western Kentucky...

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 549 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Ledbetter, or near Reidland, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near... Calvert City around 555 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Grand Rivers.

This includes Interstate 24 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 28 and 33.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
