🎓 Senior Spotlight: Jasper Wilson-Thornton

Congratulations to Jasper Wilson-Thornton as he graduates from Terra Nova High School and prepares for an exciting new chapter at University of California, Davis!

Jasper’s Spindrift journey has been a unique one. While many may remember him performing onstage in productions such as Legally Blonde and The Lightning Thief, he eventually discovered a passion for the technical side of theater and made the transition from actor to technician. Since then, he has become an invaluable member of our production teams, helping bring shows to life from behind the scenes.

Jasper has experience in many different areas of theater technology, but his primary focus has been sound engineering. He is currently serving on the technical team for Heathers: Teen Edition, continuing to lend his expertise, creativity, and dedication to the production.

As he heads to UC Davis to study Economics, we know Jasper will continue to apply the same curiosity, problem-solving skills, and commitment that have made him such an important part of the Spindrift community.

Jasper, thank you for everything you’ve contributed both onstage and behind the scenes. We are incredibly proud of you and grateful for the impact you’ve had on our theater family. Congratulations, and we can’t wait to see what you accomplish next! 🎓🎭✨

🎓 Senior Spotlight: Christopher Garcia

Congratulations to Christopher as he takes his final bow at Spindrift and begins an exciting new chapter at San Francisco State University!

Over the past two years, Christopher has become an important part of the Spindrift family, growing tremendously as a performer while building lasting friendships and memories along the way. Some of his favorite roles include Danny Zuko in Grease, his dream role of Hades in Hadestown, and the unforgettable Willard in Footloose. Through every production, Christopher brought talent, dedication, and heart to the stage.

Spindrift has been a place where Christopher discovered new strengths, developed his talents, and found a supportive community that helped him grow both on and off the stage. While we will miss seeing him in our productions, we know his journey is just beginning.

This fall, Christopher will attend San Francisco State University, and we cannot wait to see all that he accomplishes in the years ahead. Thank you, Christopher, for the joy, dedication, and friendship you brought to Spindrift. We are so proud of you and excited to watch your next act unfold.
