Right now, Amber is smiling, even though we have no more tents left, which she needs. She's grateful for the prayer and food.

This past Tuesday, we met Andrew and Wild Bill.

They’re living outside. We gave them a tent, some basic supplies, and, most importantly, food.

And we’ll be back out again this Tuesday.

But here’s the problem: we’re running low on some of the very things we’re handing out.

Right now, we especially need:

• Canned tuna
• Canned chicken
• Canned vegetables
• Soup
• Toilet paper

Met this young couple today, Rose and Max.

Right now, they're laughing about how they met. She said, "You're tall." He replied, "You're short."

They'd heard we're out every Tuesday and reached out to ask if we'd meet up with them.

So today, we found them. A tent, some bedding, food, and a few other things later, they were still giving each other a hard time.

We're running low on supplies.

An update on Michael.

Since our last post, he says many of his friends have visited him. Family has reached out, and one of them may catch a flight into town.

This is Justin from Welcome House, helping Michael get his birth certificate — one more barrier between him and better housing.

And all of this started because we stopped on another Tuesday.

But Michael wasn't the only unexpected part of that Tuesday. We'll share that story next.

Meet Michael. He's asked us to tell his story.

He's one of the many people we help out who don't live outside, but are on that border.

He said the relationship with his remaining family is rocky, the same struggles many of us face. Most people pass him by and won't talk to him.

He started to weep after we handed him this food. I got down on my knees and hugged him, reminding him that he was loved.

Kalinn is a Street Outreach Coordinator with The Welcome House.
