The Collinsville Police Department is proud to recognize Officer Loftin for his outstanding service and dedication to our community.

During the early morning hours of April 11, 2026, Officer Loftin responded to a call involving a male who was reportedly experiencing a severe asthma attack and having difficulty breathing. Upon arrival, Officer Loftin quickly assessed the situation and immediately began providing lifesaving care, including CPR and other critical first aid measures.

Officer Loftin remained calm under pressure and continued rendering aid until medical personnel could arrive and safely transport the individual to the hospital for further treatment.

His professionalism, quick decision-making, and commitment to preserving life exemplify the highest standards of law enforcement and reflect great credit upon himself and the Collinsville Police Department.
