Matthew 25:34-40

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

We will gather again tomorrow to help feed and clothe those in need. We meet at the First Baptist Tulsa Caring Center on 3rd and Detroit around 5pm. If you’re interested in serving, come out and join!

Our Lord Jesus Christ is our great provider. He knows our every need and hears our supplications. Just as David mentions in Psalm 28: 6-9 “Blessed be the Lord, Because He has heard the voice of my supplications! The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him. The Lord is their strength. And He is the saving refuge of His anointed. Save your people, And bless your inheritance, Shepard them also, And bear them up forever.”

No matter what situation you find yourself in, have confidence that if you’re truly seeking the Lord’s will and guidance, He will see you through and deliver you. I often think about our brothers and sisters that we encounter on the streets and pray that we are able to share the love of Yeshua with them. And be an encouragement of God’s faithfulness and provision.

Hello Tulsa, we are not going to have our usual set up tomorrow due to the winter storm ahead. We will be at the same location downtown 3rd and Detroit at 5pm, in a truck to handout pre-bagged food and some emergency supplies for those in need. Everyone stay warm and safe, and please keep in those without a shelter in your prayers. May the Lord’s protection and mighty hand be upon them. God bless everyone.
