Our approach is highly relational and development focused. We partner with local government, tribal leaders and nationals to address the issues of orphans, education, water, economic development and health. Upon developing a team of nationals, we create a village. Each village consists of homes for orphans, a school based on the classical model of learning, a medical clinic, a community developmen

t center and athletic fields. Partnering our national team with professionals in various fields, we provide training and equipping to enhance the surrounding community's social and economic development.

Our Sunday children's church at Calo Me Lare, our Ugandan project, is a highlight of the week! In this lesson, kids learned about other young people in Bible history that were reminded of and called to their purpose, even when their circumstances seemed like they had been overlooked by God. One of Project Hope Worldwide's principles is to help our kids picture a special future for themselves, and that their personality, gifts, and talents are part of God's unique design for them.

Happy Tapioca Day! 🧋🌱

Did you know tapioca comes from the cassava plant? Cassava is an important food source in many countries around the world and can be prepared in so many different ways. It can be eaten raw, boiled like a thicker potato, ground into flour, or made into tapioca pearls so we can enjoy boba tea!

In Uganda, boiled cassava covered with peanut sauce is a favorite meal for many. Foods like cassava not only nourish families but are also deeply connected to culture, tradition, and daily life.

It’s always amazing to learn how something as simple as a plant can be used in so many meaningful ways around the world. ❤️
