On this We Matter Wednesday, we congratulate Madi Smith! She will be receiving Brandon's memorial scholarship of $2,500.

Madi is a 2026 graduate of Rejoice Christian School. This coming fall, Madi plans to attend Tulsa Community College to study digital media.

On this We Matter Wednesday, meet Chase Heath! Chase will be receiving a $2,500 Magalassi Foundation scholarship.

Chase is a 2026 graduate of Rejoice Christian School. He is very active, both in school and the community. Chase served in his school’s chapter of National Honor Society as a Representative from 2024-2025 and as the Historian from 2025-2026; he also served as the school’s Executive Board as Secretary and Historian; served as the Sophomore Class President; has served in Youth Court for Youth Services of Tulsa; attended mission trips to Mexico from 2024-2026 and interned at Sirrah Investments.

Chase is still deciding either to attend John Brown University or Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) in the fall. Regardless of which university he chooses, Chase plans to study mechanical engineering.

On this We Matter Wednesday, meet Lilah Cariker. Lilah will be receiving a Magalassi Foundation scholarship.

Lilah is a 2026 graduate of Rejoice Christian School. In the fall, Lilah plans to attend Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma, to study business marketing and management.

On this We Matter Wednesday, meet Abigail Thrower. Abigail will be receiving a $2,500 memorial scholarship.

Abigail is a 2026 graduate of Owasso High School. She has been involved in school activities such as National Honor Society as well as an officer of Société Honoraire de Français (National French Honor Society), volunteering numerous hours in both organizations. Part of her volunteer service was at Smith Elementary through the Elementary French Outreach Program. Abigail has also served on Student Council, Senior Board and as Cash Lead Officer during OKIE week for the high school’s philanthropy.

Abigail plans to attend the University of Oklahoma in the fall to study business.

On this We Matter Wednesday, meet Addison Brown. Addison will be receiving a $2,500 memorial scholarship based on her video.

Addison is a 2026 graduate of Rejoice Christian School. She has a heart for others and volunteers time in service to her church nursery, caring for children. She has been named head-of-school honor roll nine times over the past four years. Not only is Addison giving of her time at church and busy at school, but she also works part time at a restaurant in her community.

Addison plans to attend the University of South Florida in the fall to study musical theater.

Addison’s scholarship is given in memory of Floyd Jozwiak, Brandon’s grandfather.
